-All weight ballast must have at least two ½” bolts, per 50 lbs
-All weight ballast must have two ½ “ bolts, or be in caged
-No weight ballast allowed in the drivers compartment
Weight

-Any car running w/unlimited engine or after market trans, 2900# min. weight
-For each feature event win, must add an additional 50 lbs

Transmission and Clutch:

-May run any aftermarket trans (Bert, Brinn, and Falcon, etc) must weigh 2900 lbs min.
Rear End:
-Not required to match vehicle make
-Quickchange Style rear ends are allowed
-No Electronic Traction Devices
Wheels and Tires:
-Racing Wheels Required
-5/8" Wheel Studs Required
-1" Lug Nuts Required
-Any Racing Tire O.K.
-Any racing or DOT tire. No snow tires allowed
Safety:
Points Rules
-FIRE SUIT REQUIRED min. SFI 1 (coat, pants, boots and gloves)
-Helmet (must meet min. snell rating sa2000/sa2005)
-Neck restrain recommended (neck roll, hans, hutchens, ect.)
-Five Point Safety Belts (3", no older than two years)
-Must have window net or arm restraints
-Master electrical disconnect, mounted accessible from the outside of car recommended
-Battery must be securely fastened outside of the drivers compartment
-SFI approved fuel cell (bladder must be mounted in steel can)
-Full front and rear fire walls and complete decking required
-Car numbers must be visible on both side panels and roof, must be contrasting color to car
(roof number must be 24" tall and side panel numbers must be 18" tall)
General:
All cars competing with M.O.V.R., members or not, must comply with club and track Safety Rules
All Decisions made by track officials are final and are not arguable
Any car black flagged for any reason other than mechanical failure will forfeit all points for
that event
1. Car must be M.O.V.R. member to compete for points championship.
2. Car must meet M.O.V.R. rules to receive points towards the points
championship.
3. Any car found ineligible after the feature will not receive any points
for that event.
4. Two heat races will be held if the total car count exceeds ten.
Drivers will draw for heat position.
5. All members will race in one feature event. Starting position will be
determined by current point standings. The driver with the lowest
points will set the poll and so on, with the points champion starting in
last place.
6. Championship points is decided based on 75% of races ran. (if 20 events are
completed, 75% equals 15 races ran. A driver takes his best 15 finishes out of the
20 races ran)
Points Accumulation:
Attend M.O.V.R. Event - 40 pts.
Start Heat Race -10 pts.
Finish Heat Race - 10 pts.
Start Feature Race – 10 pts.
Finish Feature Race - 10 pts.

1st - 20 pts.
2nd - 18 pts.
3rd - 16 pts.
4th - 14 pts.
5th - 12 pts.
